When directors Ronna Gradus and Jill Bauer set out to produce and direct a documentary, their initial focus was young men, specifically the young men who lived on college campuses and were huge consumers of pornography. After the pair's last film, Sexy Baby , about the sexualisation of young girls in the digital age, was released, many people had asked if they were going to do the "boy version" next. But things did not go to plan. As time progressed, the pair were struck by the seemingly endless stream of young women pouring into the porn industry, not out of desperation, but rather for the commercial return.
